A nice product from the UK, Loc8tor, allows you to find that misplaced valuable of yours up to a range of over 180 metres / 600 feet!
It does this by using homing tags you attach to any valuable you have. Register the tag on the loc8tor and voila! The loc8tor searches the tagged objects using audio beeps with an on-screen directional display.
