Have You Heard of Apple Netbook?
The netbook trend has made a great impact on the any computer-related industry today. The computer industry has offered netbooks to sell in the market. However, Apple, one of the most popular designer and manufacturer of consumer electronics and software products, haven’t been offering its own netbook but expectations are on or before the end of 2009.
Wintek Corporation from Taiwan had a report that Apple requested a supply of 10-inch touch screens. The design has predictions from the company watchers; some said that apple will have a traditional design while others say that there will be a regeneration of Mac Tablet using iPhone’s multi-touch technology instead of the stylus pen.
Apple would probably choose a touch screen keyboard and for a 10-inch version of the iPhone’s touch-screen keyboard for their own version of netbook, making it more portable to use. The probable size of the netbook that Apple will offer may be a smaller size since that they requested a supply of 10-inch touch screen to Wintek Corp., as said above. It won’t be proportion if Apple will choose a larger keyboard. They might make a 9 to 10 inch Mac netbook, underrate the tablet PC to a netbook size, or simply build a larger iPod Touch with a 7-inch screen.
If Apple will use a full version of their Mac Operating System then it would be much better because it can do much more with its full specifications. But if Apple will use a mere old version like in the iPhone then it would consume less battery power.
You might be thinking how much storage capacity will is going to offer. But Apple is known for using flash memory on its electronic products so expect that Apple might use solid-state drive for storage memory. Though flash memory reduces the physical size of netbooks, they are not yet available in large sizes.
3G allows mobile handsets to establish connection in the internet if there is a phone signal and it does matter if Apple netbook will support 3G. Though there are possibilities that Apple will include 802.11n wireless networking, USB Port and Bluetooth, still it would be much better if they’ll offer a 3G connection.
