Computers, Mp3, cell phones, laptops, USB, digital cameras, expensive cars; what more do we wish to have? Those modern gadgets are the fruit of the hard work of our genius inventors. Imagine life without using those stuffs. Boring, right? If you are a good observant and aware of the transformation of our technology today, I suggest you to take a deep breath for the ground breaking inventions that we enjoy nowadays.
If I ask you how many friends you have right now, I will not wonder if you are going to answer me “Thousands!†Why? It’s because of the social networking sites. Imagine having a lot of friends just by chatting, giving testimonials or comments and even making blogs. We could only do that with the aid of computers and internet.
It’s fun and enjoyable using this kind of technology. Aside from educational purposes, it can also provide us with entertainment and leisure as well. We now have websites that wherein we can share our unforgettable videos, even search for the ones that we missed watching on the television. What about the USB? It’s more convenient to use than having diskettes or CDs to save our files and important documents.
Furthermore, a lot of overseas workers testified that they fought homesickness that they are experiencing abroad because of the gadgets that they have. Instead of sending snail mails to their families, they are now enjoying and prefer chatting.
Before, we are using betamax but suddenly, it’s replaced by DVD players that give us a lot of option on using it. People nowadays are really fond of taking pictures for remembrances for some occasions, places and other people. With the benefit of having camera phones, we are now able to enjoy the moments wherever we are and whenever we go.
The world is really changing very fast, every minute and every hour. Cellphones today can be upgraded in just seconds. Computers can give us accurate information with just one click.
This is all real. We are now enjoying living in the modernized civilization. We don’t need to forget the past but it cherish it is a stepping stone of achieving this opportunity.
